Our Story
My name is Shlomo Angel, a husband and father of four. I was born and raised in Jerusalem, the Holy City.
From a young age, my parents raised me with a deep connection to the Western Wall, teaching me to pray there and feel the unique spiritual presence of this sacred place. The faith I grew up with stays with me to this day — as it is said: "The Divine Presence never departs from the Western Wall."
For me, the Western Wall is not just a location — it is a deep, personal spiritual connection.
Why the Western Wall?
The Western Wall is the last remaining remnant of the Second Temple — the holiest site in Judaism. For over 2,000 years, Jews from every corner of the world have come here to pray, to weep, and to hope. Millions of prayer notes are placed in its ancient stones every year — each one carrying someone's deepest request, their greatest fear, or their most heartfelt gratitude. This is not just a wall. It is the address where prayers have been heard for generations. And it is the place I walk to — on your behalf.
This journey began in 2019, during the COVID-19 period, when the world came to a halt and international travel was restricted. Many people found themselves unable to visit sacred places that were deeply meaningful to them.
During that time, I began receiving personal requests from individuals around the world who could not reach the Western Wall. They shared their difficulty in praying from afar and their strong desire to feel a personal connection to this holy place.
From this need, the idea was born — to create a personal and intimate way for people to send their prayers to the Western Wall from anywhere in the world.
Since then, I personally visit the Western Wall and place each prayer note with care, respect, and a deep sense of purpose — with a genuine desire to serve as a messenger for those who cannot be there themselves.
Many people have shared that this experience brought them comfort, connection, and a renewed sense of spirituality. For some, it was their first opportunity to connect deeply in prayer with this sacred place, even from afar.
This website is also dedicated in loving memory of my dear mother, Shulamit bat Mazal Tov, of blessed memory — a woman of faith, kindness, and light, who devoted her life to prayer at the Western Wall for her family and others. May her memory be a blessing.
This site is likewise dedicated to the memory of my dear and beloved uncle, a son of Jerusalem and guardian of its holy stones — Rabbi Yehuda Mutzafi, son of Rabbi Salman Mutzafi, of blessed memory — one of the great luminaries of Jerusalem, whose heart was inseparable from the Western Wall. He would return to it again and again, standing at its ancient stones in prayer and in tears, pouring out his soul before the Creator. Jerusalem watched over him, and he watched over Jerusalem. May his memory be a blessing for all eternity.
